Restaurant Month ~ Spyglass Inn Restaurant

My favorite time of the year... Restaurant Month!!! Every year I plan on dinning at every participating restaurant throughout San Luis Obispo County BUT that never seems to happen.
But I am happy to report that I did visit the Spyglass Inn Restaurant in Shell Beach and what a great choice it was. I had actually never eaten at the Spyglass Inn Restaurant in Shell Beach. I am one of those people that finds a place she loves, finds what she likes on the menu and then returns to order that exact same thing every time! I can say that I will be returning to the Spyglass for another meal very soon.
The food was fantastic. I had their "Shrimp Spings Rolls with Peanut Sauce" to start. They were so fresh and yummy - just he way I like my food. Then I had the "Spyglass Chicken" - oh my goodness it was beyond delicious. Two chicken breasts flattened and stuffed with spinach, tomato and mozzarella cheese and then covered in a white, cream sauce. The chicken came on top of a bed of garlic mashed potatoes with a side of fresh squash. Wow - it was honestly the best meal I've had in quite some time. And that wasn't the end. I never dine out with out ordering dessert, so as you can guess I just had to order the "Chocolate Torte" - or as I like to call it, "A Slice of Heaven". It was even drizzled in a vanilla sauce!!
Need less to say, I left as one really happy and stuffed girl. If you have a chance get out tonight and stop by the Spyglass Inn Restaurant in Shell Beach and enjoy a 3-course meal for only $30. Get there before sunset so you can watch the sun go down over a glass of wine! As you may know, the Spyglass Inn Restaurant is located on the beach!
Enjoy!
